Capitol AEI (Pvt) Ltd. (CAEI) was incorporated in 1983 as a Private Limited Liability Company and CAEI became the exclusive agents in Sri Lanka for Air Express International (AEI), Darien, Connecticut, USA. In 1999, AEI was acquired by Danzas Management AG Basel, Switzerland and CAEI has been the Exclusive Agent in Sri Lanka for Danzas Management AG since then.
Deutsche Post World Net, the Parent company of Danzas is also the owners of DHL. DHL is now providing Express, Logistic and Freight solutions under the DHL brand. The new brand "DHL Danzas Air & Ocean" will manage international Air and Ocean Forwarding, Customs Brokerage, Warehousing & Distribution, Project Forwarding, Domestic & International Transport Services. Capitol AEI is operating from three locations in Sri Lanka, Colombo, Peliyagoda & Katunayake.
