PHASE
IV - In-company coaching and implementation assistance
a. Expected results
The expected results include some if not all of the following points:-
• A more professional approach to managing the companies’ business.
• A better trained team of management that will provide ongoing and sustainable improvements to their businesses.
• An improvement in productivity from the initial benchmarked figures.
• A more competitive and responsive company.
• Increased business from the European Union.
b. Activities
Following the delivery of the workshops, each participant
will create their own project team and draw up their own
‘Action Plan for Productivity Improvement and Increased
Competitiveness’. This action plan will then be
reviewed by the project team and a schedule set for individual
company visits to coach in the application of the action
plan.
A visit schedule will be drawn up and agreed with each participant company. Visits will be made to each company, and assistance, coaching and consultancy guidance will be given on the action plan implementation.
A key part of the implementation will be to monitor improvements against the original benchmarks and key performance indicators and demonstrate the success of the project at individual company level.
c. Time scale
Each company will be allocated 10 days for follow up coaching and implementation assistance. A visit schedule will be drawn up and agreed with each company.
