The Sri Lanka Export Development Board in collaboration with the Embassy of Sri Lanka in Austria, and coordinating partners the in Central Europe are pleased to announce the Export Promotions Delegation to Central Europe from the 15th to 19th February 2010.
“CEEPro 2010”, abbreviation for Central Europe Export Promotions initiative is a national campaign to promote Sri Lankan leading exports manufacturing products within Central Europe. This initiative spearheaded by the Sri Lanka Export Development Board and the Sri Lanka Embassy in Austria aims to create awareness of the Sri Lanka Export market by developing and strengthening the bilateral business links between Sri Lanka & four Central European Countries. Namely, Austria, Croatia, Slovakia and Czech Republic. The key theme of the initiative is to “Building Bridges with Central Europe”.
Tailor made as a One to One match making event endeavours to bring the target Export producers together
to meet with potential buyers from Austria, Croatia, Slovakia and Czech Republic with focus on potentially creating stronger relations and market opportunities between Sri Lanka and Central Europe. This event aims to create awareness and further develop and strengthen the present bilateral business links by way of trade, investment, transfer of technology, joint ventures, sales and marketing cooperation etc. whilst boosting the image of Sri Lanka in Central Europe.

In Central Europe– Austrian, Croatian, Czech and Slovak Companies
A national promotional campaign carried out by partners in Austrian, Croatian, Czech and Slovak will apprise potential European companies of the nature of the “CEEPro 2010”, its objectives, benefits and promote participation by the European companies. The event secretariats in each m country will identify and select European companies from the chosen sectors based on the European company’s desired cooperation and the Sri Lankan’s Company’s wish list. Participation for European Companies is completely free. ECCSL the Sri Lankan partner will initiate direct discussion with the European companies and provide following services to the European companies together with the Central European partner Organisations’.

- Identify potential European Partners for Sri Lankan companies.
- Coordinate meetings with European companies for visiting Sri Lanka companies during event;
